For almost forty years, the government has succeeded in convincing the public that all research related to human animal hybrids has been terminated. Macy Greer knows different. I didn't know what to think from the description of the book and I am so glad I took a chance. This book is so well written, I was absolutely engaged from the get-go. The action is nonstop and the main character, Macy, had me literally LOL. I kept getting looks from my husband and kids :-) (who had to make dinner because I wouldn't put it down!)Hybrid Zone is an excellent urban fantasy that sticks to the 'rules' of this genre while bringing a new spin to the mix. C.E. Glines has done a masterful job of creating a witty loveable character (I Love her!) in a world of fantastic nonstop action that teases our imaginations.
All I have to say is PLEASE hurry up with that sequel!

I'm always looking for new authors since I love to read. Hybrid Zone took a few chapters to really get into but then I couldn't put it down. There were twists in the plot that kept me hooked right up to the very end.
Can't wait for the sequel!
I'm always looking for something new to read, and I was not disappointed. This book is a page turner, it keeps you guessing. It's full of action and quite hilarious! Macy is such a real character with real problems. I will definitely look for more books from this author!

eBooks can sometimes be hit or miss, but this one was really good. There was an interesting plot, the protagonist was well written, and the emotions realistic. There was a little romance, it was just that, a little. It was not the main point of the story, which was great, because there's nothing that irritates me more than a title that is described as fantasy and is really romance. Worth reading, and I'm waiting for the next!

I did not want to put it down!! You are drawn into the lives of all the characters especially Macy's. There is plenty of action, suspense, drama, comedy and some romance which keeps you engrossed in the book. Well done Ms. Glines! I highly recommend this book......great reading!
I had not heard of this author before but the sample I read pulled me in quickly. Wow loved this story. Excellent world building. Macy was my kind of girl. There were several laugh out loud moments. If you like urban fantasy with adventure,romance and a lot of really smart characters I highly recommend this book.
