All About Ducklings A nonfiction easy reader for kids edition by Cindy Bracken Children eBooks
This book is well worth getting for toddlers. The photographs are amazingly crisp and clean, showing ducks of various ages, colors and doing various activities. I realize that the title is "All About Ducklings", but the written portion of this book is basically a list of facts illustrated with a photograph. I have a feeling parents reading this book might still have the questions How, What, Where and Why asked as the book is being read. "How did the duck get out of the egg", "Where is the Papa Duck?", "What games do ducks play?", "How do they learn to fly?". I may be over thinking this, but I think kids will ask and parents should try and be prepared. Having the child ask questions, does not take anything away from the book, but improves the interaction between the parent and child. I think the book is well worth reading to a toddler, I just think the style of conveying the facts could have been done in a less bulleted manner.Product details

All About Ducklings A nonfiction easy reader for kids edition by Cindy Bracken Children eBooks Reviews
This book is quick and holds the interest of my one year old till the end. The pictures are beautiful.
Great pictures. Nice vocabulary. Great explanation. Our 6 year old followed along and answered the questions we asked of her.
I really enjoyed reading this book to my toddler. The pictures were unexpectedly beautiful and the text carried the book along.
It's nice to have children's book on my iPad to read to them. Read it to your children grandchildren it a nice short story.
Great book thank you my three years old and loved it and he was so much taken with the pictures and the story
The cutest and informative pictures adorn each page of this book. See a newly hatched duckling still wet, lying beside its cracked egg.
Did you know a family of ducklings is called a brood? Look at the close-up of a duck's foot, see the webbing, veins etc.
This is a well-written book that will encourage young children to learn. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from our house to yours!
